* Angst is an emotion that I really like with Hannigram but with a happy ending. I like when they are both mutually pining over one another as well, thinking they either can't or shouldn't have the other.

• Belligerent Sexual Tension

* Capturing the insane amount of sexual tension that they have is so important to me. The way they look at each other, their banter. I also love when their sexual tension is explained from the perspective of an outsider, people who can see how horned up these two are for one another and surprised at how resolved they are at not breaking and just letting the tension pile up.

• Body Swap - Good Guy A Is Surprisingly Good At Pretending To Be Villain B

* The idea of Will/Hannibal swapping bodies is funny to me. I feel like Hannibal would be very mischievous here. I would also love to see body exploration in these body swaps, touching all over their new bodies being aroused. Hannibal aroused by all the scars he's left on Will. Them committing "selfcest" by sleeping with each other in each other's bodies.

* I didn't realize how much I liked this "Cant Stop Thinking About It" trope until I highlighted them all. In this case, I like Will to be the one who can't stop thinking about it. Maybe he accidentally saw Hannibal naked when he was changing from swimming and saw his huge cock. Or while investigating the Ripper case, he saw Hannibal having sex with someone that looked JUST like Will and it turned him on/frustrated him about this doppelganger.
I basically want to capture the idea of Will being flooded with thoughts of Hannibal even though he's trying so hard to hate him for being the Ripper. This works best from S2 dynamics on, when they have more of a frenemy/enemy relationship. I also like the idea of someone in the group just thinking they were dating and then Will can't stop thinking of how people associate them together and how he kind of likes that. I like reading the conflict from Will's perspective.

* Love the Confessions trope for Will to Hannibal. Everything Will does is impulsively and I feel like he would do this.

• Dreams - Sharing Dreams
• Driven to Distraction - B Trips Over Because Watching Character A
• Dubcon - Unnegotiated kinks that make sub upset but reluctantly turned on

* reluctantly turned on is my favorite thing about this freeform. I like the idea of Hannibal (as usual) taking a mile when Will gives an inch, and somehow Will being super into it anyway. Kink Negotiation and Kink Discovery is really great for these two.

• Enemies to Lovers - A has fallen for B; B thinks A is only fucking B as revenge & out of convenience

* The fact that this could for either Hannibal as A or B. I kind of prefer Will having fallen for Hannibal reluctantly but absolutely. And Hannibal thinks Will is just playing more mind games and fucking with him to continue his honeytrap scheme. Either way, the thing I like about this is the misplaced jealousy/misunderstandings here. Thinking that they're just being fucked and used, the mutual pining potential.

• Enemies to Lovers - A is protective of B; B mistakenly thinks it's a case of "no one kills B but me"
• Enemies to Lovers - Amnesiac A Thinks Enemy B is their SO; B plays along but then catches feelings
• Enemies to Lovers - Antagonistic taunts unexpectedly turns into flirty banter
• Enemies to Lovers - Bickering as (or becoming) Flirting
• Enemies to Lovers - Character misses enemy/antagonist when they stop targeting them

* I feel like Hannibal would give a great massage that would lead to some sexually tense scenes.

I love the idea of Will thinking he's honey trapping Will, this taunting, from S2+ on when he escapes, and even though he says he's a good fisherman, he gets caught up in his own dynamic with Hannibal and genuinely starts to find that he's flirting with him. This works for S2, S3, post-canon.

• Falling for the Enemy - attempt at manipulation leads to feelings

* This is another trope that I like for Will to Hannibal. I feel like Will's first time with a man would be with Hannibal. I like the idea of the mental gymnastics Will does in his head to justify how he could ever love and be attracted to this serial killer Hannibal. But theyve been pining for each other and this moment feels so big for them, and it is when they finally just ravage each other visually and see each other naked.

* Denial of Will's feelings for Hannibal is super big here. I like hearing his internal processes as he tries to deny what he is so into it.

* I really like this for both but again since I like the "in denial feelings" from Will to Hannibal, I like that Will has some SO he's married to or something and cheats on them for Hannibal because he can't deny the feelings that they have and their connection. Altogether what I like about infidelity trope is how irresistible they find one another that they can't stop themselves from cheating. Tbh, that is basically what happens with Molly considering he's emotionally distant from her.
